 Lt Col (Ret) “Bubba” Dixon was born on 4 February 1951 in College Station, Texas. He completed high school in his home town of Houston, Texas and entered Texas A&M University and the “Aggie” corps of cadets in 1969. He graduated in 1973 with a degree in Microbiology and as a distinguished graduate of ROTC. He entered Air Force pilot training in 1975 and continued a lengthy flying career in the Air Force until his retirement.
He retired from active duty 31 July 1995 and is currently the Firm Administrator for the law firm of Fitzhugh, Elliott & Ammerman. Lt Col Dixon holds a Master of Science degree in International Relations from Troy State University. He is a senior pilot with more than 3600 flying hours. Lt Col Dixon’s military decorations include the Air Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters.
He is married to the former Jo Ella Bonner. They have one child, a son, William Clay Dixon. |
